Emerson went with Mommy to work today.
Guess what kept her quiet!

She had so much fun, playing ponies, reading books, and of course snacking on all the good food!

Then at 11:30 she crawled up on the couch and took about an hour long nap! How nice for all of us!

Emmy especially liked to find the tricky eggs, the one's hidden in the grass got old after a while!

She is such a sweet child! Always pretty as a picture.

"Momma -Candy!" She was so excited to find eggs! For the first 5 or 6 she had to open, maybe eat a piece of candy, then hold it in her hands. Until she saw how many eggs the other kids had, then she got the point and grabbed & stuffed as many eggs in her bag as possible!

So this is what Easter with a 2 year old is like?

"Who made this MESS?" ..."Emmy!" That is always her response!

We never have a dull moment around here! Get all 4 kids, & 2 dogs together - No wonder Mike is in New Mexico...'til November he just told me!

She is putting it back for the Easter Bunny, I told her if she doesn't pick it up he won't be able to come to her house!

Time to wash the dogs!!! Oh the fun we have at the Pressley house!

On Tuesday morning I left Emmy on my bed watching cartoons while I took a shower...this is what I found not even 5 minutes later! She took it upon herself to make breakfast! Now I put the chips in the top cabinet!

Not a happy camper when I tried to take the chips away and told her she had to eat toast instead!

What a pretty profile! The hair is another story!!!

Momma took Em for a long walk at Grammy's house today! It was the only way to get her to take a nap ~ the terrible twos have hit early for this little monster!

MY FIRST STITCHES!

Emerson (23 mos) was playing at the babysitters house, and fell when the boys were chasing after her! I got the dreaded call that no parent wants to hear just 15 minutes after getting to work! We spent 4 hours in the E.R. and they had to strap her down and stitch the bottom of her chin with 2 stitches!

Here she is last weekend on the veranda....she just loves to eat her afternoon snack on the deck watching the puppies play below!

She even feeds her baby dolls!
